Books and Literature
I just finished Cryptonomicon. Are any of Neal Stephenson's other books any good

It had a pretty slow start, but I really enjoyed it by the end. His writing style is really enjoyable.

I feel that all of his other books are good, but the ones that I'd recommend the highest are: Snow Crash and Quicksilver, but you can't really go wrong with the post-cyberpunk genre.

Snow Crash and The DIamond Age if you're looking for sci-fi/cyberpunk. The Big U is also pretty good, kind of a sci-fi satire of college life. Zodiac is more of a thriller novel about pollution. I'm about a 3rd of the way through Anathem and I'm enjoying it.
Stay away from Reamde; it's also a "thriller", but I'll be damned if I didn't say it was incredibly boring and aimless. Not one of his best.
I respect your opinions, but only when they agree with mine--awesomephatman

Definitely read Snow Crash - his best I think.
Diamond Age was also very intersting.
