Hulk has never killed innocents?

So Hulk has uses super geometry to calculate his rampages so he never kills innocents? Doesn't this contradict the fact that the reason they shot him into space was because he killed a bunch of people and a dog during one of his rampages?

It was a retcon.
A stupid retcon.

No, it's even MORE stupid than that.
This is the little story of how Hulk had a rampage in Vegas that resulted in the death of several people and two dogs (no word on cats, hamsters and other pets). That event made the Illuminati decide that Hulk was too much of a liability, so they had to send him into space, to get rid of him for good. Hulk was captured and sent in a rocket. Rocket suffered a malfunction and landed on a planet inhabitated by a gladiator society. There Hulk became their leader, got married and got kids. While pregnant, Hulk's wife was dumb enough to get close to the rocket that took him there and it exploded, killing her. This made Hulk the Angriest Than He Had Ever Been ©. Hulk decided to get back to Earth to get his revenge. Upon his arrival, he started kicking everyone's asses. Among the heroes, there was a figure called Amadeus Cho who explained Hulk never kills anybody because he subconsciously calculates the best angles to hit buildings and to throw stuff so people don't get killed.
Except killing people was the reason why he was sent into space in the first place!!!

Yes super math. it was less of a retcon and more of a stupid line.... they happen. If the fans would let it go, it would be gone. I don't think it has come up since then and it is so hated I doubt it will come up ever again.
I guess Marvel should do a line of "Amadeus Cho doesn't know **** Hulk killed people." So the fan boys can drop it, but this Marvel, they will stick with a bad idea until a worst one comes along.

They've been seesawing on whether or not Hulk's rampages cause deaths for ages. The consensus for the longest has been that Hulk has never murdered innocent people. However, whether or not the collateral damage has caused deaths is something else.
When Banner was stripped out of the Hulk, Strange makes it a point of mentioning how Banner's subconscious had prevented any death, but now that he was gone, everyone was in danger. Then you have issue #400, where the Professor Hulk himself said the Hulk's rampages were responsible for countless deaths.
It depends on the editor mostly. The only constant is that the Hulk can't be shown murdering an innocent, or an innocent dying as a result of a Hulk rampage.
