I think it is. Getting a Looting III sword is too easy. Getting a Silk Touch pick is too easy. Getting a Fortune III pick is too easy. Getting an Infinity bow is too easy.
The only times it gets too hard is when you want a tool or weapon with 3+ different enchants on it.
Like it or leave it. Hey, where are you going?

Is that the one that lets you pick what you want? I've been using one called Enchanting Plus or something like that and I've found once I put 5+ enchants on my items , I have nothing else to use xp on anymore. Max efficiency diamond tools last forever and I can repair them with EExchange or other mods like Thaumcraft. Armor, weapons, tools... nothing breaks.
Thinking about removing it to be honest.

I use Better Enchanting because it takes too bloomin long to level up just to not get the enchantments you want.

Are you sure its forge and not another mod that is incompatible with forge? Which mods are you using?
Here is the link to the current recommended forge version.http://lexmanos.no-ip.org:8080/job/Forge/Recommended/

A bit overpowered by itself.
Incredibly overpowered when paired with something like Thaumcraft. (Extra enchants, plus repairing items without spending your XP.)

thanks for your replies. I thought it was not compatible but the only problem i think is in the magic launcher... I can enable it with errors but it runs ok...
