Deadpool only had three ongoings at once. That was nothing compared to Batman. People only made a big fuss because he was a B-lister getting more attention than most companies would try.
LOL team books don't count for Marvel but Bat-family counts for Batman?
Also, it's irrelevant if they use the Bat-family characters. It's not like other groups of characters don't have multiple books.
Not to mention there's a reason they have them: People like them.
Deadpool getting 3 ongoings and a Deadpool month? Oh just people making a fuss.
Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl having ongoings? Blatant exploitation!!!
|Hulk has never killed innocents? (3) | Posted on July 9, 2012, 7:13 a.m.|
|No, it's even MORE stupid than that.|
This is the little story of how Hulk had a rampage in Vegas that resulted in the death of several people and two dogs (no word on cats, hamsters and other pets). That event made the Illuminati decide that Hulk was too much of a liability, so they had to send him into space, to get rid of him for good. Hulk was captured and sent in a rocket. Rocket suffered a malfunction and landed on a planet inhabitated by a gladiator society. There Hulk became their leader, got married and got kids. While pregnant, Hulk's wife was dumb enough to get close to the rocket that took him there and it exploded, killing her. This made Hulk the Angriest Than He Had Ever Been ©. Hulk decided to get back to Earth to get his revenge. Upon his arrival, he started kicking everyone's asses. Among the heroes, there was a figure called Amadeus Cho who explained Hulk never kills anybody because he subconsciously calculates the best angles to hit buildings and to throw stuff so people don't get killed.
Except killing people was the reason why he was sent into space in the first place!!!

Mayor Penguin from Batman Returns.
Lucius buried in a desk somewhere and becoming Batman's Hephaestus from Nolan's movies.
The bat scene reminded me of Year One and Flass.
I'm sure there are more :P
Villains were creepy s***.
Alfred was badass.
This will probably serve as a print for the Batman reboot. And when that happens, I want Bryan Cranston playing either Gordon or Alfred.
He was born to play those. I know he played Gordon in Year One animated movie, but he actually LOOKS like them and going by Breaking Bad, he'd do an incredible job.
Gordon was kinda puss at the beginning, but I understood him after he told his story. Glad to see he grew balls.
The Bullock character was fantastic. He started as this smarmy but ideallistic character and damn, the way his soul crushed was sad.
Now he'll become the fat slob Bullock we know.
Glad to see no Joker either in this or in the next one. Are they going to keep killing the villains in every book?

|Also, the people from Wales and Scotland who say they're Welsh and Scottish do so not because they're not British (they are and know it, it's their citizenship), but just to not be confused with being English.|
English people also tend to call themselves English, not British. For the same reason.
Also because they're accustomed to specify their birthplace/descent since all three share an island and they don't call themselves British while inside the island.
It's similar to how Texans or Bostonians like to be addressed in that way. It's just that most of the US places don't have a strong particular identity. Identity is a bit thing in the UK.
Oh and no, nobody will punch you if you call them British... but thanks for spreading the stereotype of the non-English being savages.

The island as a whole is called Great Britain.
Ireland is another divided island. Two parts, in this case. One that is an independent country, named Ireland, and another named Northern Ireland, whose status is a bit more problematic, it can be a country or a province.
Together, England, Wales, Scotland and Northen Ireland are the United Kingdom (along with a bunch of other territories around the world)

They don't like to be called English, but they don't really have a problem being called Brits.
And they're called Brits/British because the island is called Great Britain, not because of the Kingdom.

|The strongest character from the entirety of the DB series against Marvel/DC? (68) | Posted on July 7, 2012, 8:08 p.m.|
Well obviously he had to get the spaceship, otherwise he would have been stranded there and yes eventually he would have run out of air but the whole point I'm getting at is he's not going to be dying straight away just because he's exposed to the vacuum of space. How long, who knows but if you go by what I've already said, a heck of a long longer than a human.
Yeah, but if something was consistent through the series was that they really couldn't hold their breath an insane amount of time like Hulk or Superman have done.
I'm still not seeing why it's a screw up. He was up there for a few minutes, not that unfathomable considering humans can survive for 2 mins.
It's not good practice to hold your breath while in a vacuum as it will damage the lungs instantly. Anyway, that's speculation on your part. Getting punched wouldn't necessarily deplete him of all his air.
Dunno, one of the first things you do is expel all the air out XD
Still, Goku would be at a very big disadvantage. One that will cripple him even if he doesn't die as soon as a human does.

Yeah in the Superman/Batman Apocalypse movie, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Batman killed. Sure they were Darkseid's alien minions, but they are still living creatures. Batman even hijacked Darkseid's bombs and threatened to blow up Darkseid's entire planet.
Yeah, but those clones weren't really alive. They were homunculi.
I'm talking about the Furies.
Also, Batman just bluffed Darkseid. Darkseid took it because he knows human kill for even the pettiest of reasons and he doesn't really know much about Batman besides he hangs out with Superman to know he doesn't kill.

From: GeorgeNewbern | #060LOL SSJ1 Goku couldn't survive in space. Bardock ain't surviving jack.
Uh, based on the series itself? Freeza taunted him several times and Goku was scared as hell. That's why had to get the spaceship to beign with...
It was in the manga, so it's canon.
You're not very bright, are you? I said screw up, not filler. The manga can have screw ups (it does) It's not some kind of Word of God.
I'm not saying he could survive up there forever but he should be able to atleast last a while for an indeterminate amount of time. As I said, humans don't instantly die when exposed to the vacuums of space. It takes atleast a minute or two so a Saiyan with better physiology will last a heck of a lot longer.
Okay, yeah, he could survive a bit longer than a human.
Problem is, in a fight, the minute he gets punched or whatever and air gets out of his lungs, it's game over.
|The strongest character from the entirety of the DB series against Marvel/DC? (60) | Posted on July 7, 2012, 2:30 p.m.|
While it's true that Saiyans can't breathe in space unless you count filler Vegeta in the early Saiyan saga. That doesn't mean he can't survive there indefinitely. One scene that comes to mind is Bardock confronting Frieza outside the atmosphere of Planet Vegeta. An average human can survive in space for atleast 1-2 minutes before they start dying. A SSJ4 Gogeta who is incalculably more powerful than an average human with better physiology could survive there for an indeterminate amount of time.
LOL SSJ1 Goku couldn't survive in space. Bardock ain't surviving jack.
The scene was either a screw up or he wasn't actually outside the atmosphere.

Wait, a guy who takes boys who could have their own path and makes them ALL become his "Robin" isn't questionable? Sorry, but I'm a known Batman fan and even I don't act like the whole Robin thing hasn't been questionable except for his own son.
Read some Batman...
What "own path" are you talking about? Dick getting killed by some mobsters? Bruce didn't take Dick in to make him a "Robin". He took the young Grayson because he had just become an orphan. He didn't even want him to do his superhero thing. Dick was going to take matters into his own hands and Batman decided to guide that effort since he couldn't really stop Dick. And it was Dick who chose the name Robin, not Batman. So the "Batman forces these kids to become his Robin" line is ridiculously idiotic.
Seems to me you read All Star Batman & Robin and formed this warped idea of how things happened.
Jason wanted to be Robin. Ditto for Tim. They CHOSE to do so. And in both cases Bruce didn't want to, but he realized Jason would be lost if left on his own and Tim earned his respect.
Damien should be obvious enough. And Bruce is his father like you said.
All in all, your complaint makes no sense and it's more of your typical irrational hate for all things DC not named Batman.
