Supply and demand kiddo. Sold mine for $575 after buying the PS4 off Amazon with free shipping and no tax for $399. If I didn't buy one then someone somewhere else would have gotten it, but probably not someone in my area where they are sold out. If the supply is low and the demand is high then these people would be dumb to sell for $400. Anyone who buy's the consoles at launch are just wanting something new and shiny to look at that they will hardly ever play until later on. It's a huge waste of money.
This guy gets it.

No s*** they're sold out everywhere because of douchebags like you that buy them only to sell them at an outrageous price.
I have no problem with price gouging at all. If people weren't willing to spend the extra $$$, those who are selling wouldn't do it.

That people are losing their plans isn't a bug, it's a feature. Their plans did not comply with all of the requirements of the ACA. That's why they were canceled. Obama sees it as doing people a favor that their plans are canceled, because those plans don't cover what Obama thinks needs to be covered.

|How did ME3 end? *requesting spoilers* (25) | Posted on Oct. 31, 2013, 5:48 a.m.|
With that being said, the EC fixed pretty much everyone's issues with the ending (although there are a few people that still complain about it, they weren't going to be happy with the EC no matter what. they wanted a changed ending. Most of us wanted an actual ending that gave closure)
The EC fixed at least knowing what happened to everyone, but it didn't do it well. Just a big slideslow. It also gave you at least an opportunity to challenge the Star Child (and refuse him), which was a nice touch. And with the Leviathan pack, at least the Star Child doesn't come out of nowhere. You at least know he's coming.
So at this point, the ending is really just passable. Not great, but also not the abomination that it was on release.
A lot of people just like to play through The Citadel, have the party, and treat that as the end.

|Why is it called the affordable care act if people are forced to buy it/an alt.? (16) | Posted on Oct. 13, 2013, 12:30 p.m.|
This would make sense except for the fact that people are still gonna go bankrupt because of their medical problems
If people go bankrupt because of their medical problems, it's because they're too sick to work, not because they're bajillions of dollars in debt. It's a slightly different, albeit related problem, but it's not one the ACA was designed to address.
The rising cost of healthcare over the last few decades has a lot to do with compensating for the number of uninsured patients who are required to be treated. The thought is that if those people were insured, the hospitals would no longer have to bear the risk of a non-paying patient, and prices will go down.
Is this an overly simplistic explanation? Of course. Healthcare is complicated, and there really is no simple answer.

|Why is it called the affordable care act if people are forced to buy it/an alt.? (13) | Posted on Oct. 13, 2013, 12:21 p.m.|
You act like dying would be better than living in debt. Additionally, charity hospitals and pro-bono doctors exist. Regardless, a hospital can bill a homeless man all they want if they can wen get an address - doesn't mean they'll ever get the money.
The concept of the affordable care act is built around a number of premises, the first of which is that people should not be forced to declare bankruptcy just because it gets sick. It seems you disagree with that statement.
Also, you do know that when someone doesn't pay, it jacks up the rates for everyone else? It's a gigantic feedback loop.
