The non EC ending WAS very vague, but it wasn't a bad thing to all people. Some people needed to be spoonfed, so because the cinematic was just a color change difference that means that there was nothing else that was different even through the three choices each had very different impacts on the universe.
Possible ME3 Spoilers:
I don't want to start an argument about the ME3 ending, but it's not about the ending being vague (although it was). It's about, after spending nearly 100 hours playing through 3 games and being told that your decisions matter, none of them do, and it's all reduced to some stupid number, and leaving you with 3 endings that are functionally the same, but with different colors. It's about introducing a character in the last 5 minutes that makes no sense, and gives you no opportunity to argue with him. No inkling of his existence (although Leviathan clears this up a little). Even the EC doesn't really fix the problem, although at least it shows what happens to your squadmates.

From: Prince Enix | Posted: 1/7/2013 12:23:26 AM | #009Who do Canadians use university in the same manner?
My point is that, at least in my experience, Canadians assume that you're at a university. So they don't ask you "What college or uni are you at," or "What post-secondary educational institution do you attend," but "What uni are you at."
In any case, neither of the points you raised in the OP have anything to do with quality of education.

|It turns out most people in the US will be paying higher taxes this year (24) | Posted on Jan. 2, 2013, 6:42 a.m.|
I personally feel that the tax loopholes are the biggest problem. There should be absolutely loopholes at all. I'm not a tax expert though so I'm sure that's harder than it sounds.
It's impossible. There. There's a reason that the people who have money with which to exploit the loopholes have so much money. Because they can hire the smartest accountants to do it.
And if we learned anything from the presidential debates, it's that closing tax loopholes alone - while politically popular - won't solve anything.

Look, I live in Miami. And the summers here are hot and humid. But have you ever spent a summer in Atlanta? Or Houston? Or Washington, DC? All of them are worse than Miami. Hell, even Chicago is hot in the summer.
The only difference is that summer in Florida is longer. So I can understand that criticism, but otherwise, you just stay inside or in the water.

When I read Narnia, when I was like 8, I didn't pick up on any of the religious references. Now I do, thinking back on it, but I treat works like that like I do Christian Rock - if it's good, I'll read it. It's pretty easy to ignore biblical themes.
In any case, like it or not, the Bible is part of our cultural cannon. There's nothing wrong with referencing it in other works.
