|If you do, can you tell me if there is captioning for this dvd series? It's called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Series (2010) |
I'm hard of hearing and would love to rediscover what I used to watch when I was a kid but back then there was no captioning and I'm afraid even in 2010, there are no subtitles for his show, still.

I must share with you all the story of our glorious senior prank:
Our school announced near the end of the year that there was going to be a teacher's appreciation barbecue. The barbecue was going to be in the middle of a school day and on the school's soccer field. Since it was the end of the year, most of the seniors were working on senior projects (we had to do community service). My and 12 of my friends were all volunteering together at a local food bank, and when we heard the news of the teacher appreciation barbecue we thought of the best senior prank ever.
We created a bunch of fliers advertising a giant food and clothes giveaway for the needy happening at our school at the same time of the barbecue. We listed a bunch of awesome stuff on the flier like raffles for ipods and tvs and even a car giveaway. Of course, no such giveaway was going to happen. We hung the fliers all over the food bank and the distribution sites where we passed out food (we wee careful not to be seen hanging the fliers). A few other seniors who wanted in on the prank hung up fliers in the seedier parts of town.
On the day of the barbecue, probably close to 500 homeless people were lined up outside the school, with more showing up every minute. The teachers were already barbecuing out in the field, and were shocked when homeless people started trying to get past the gate and get some food. It almost turned into an angry mob when the principal, with a loudspeaker, tried to tell the people that there was no giveaway or food drive. The funniest thing was that the teachers actually still had the barbecue, but they ate in pretty much silence as 500 hungry people watched them eat ribs from the other side of the fence.
So many things happened as a result of this: the bus system was backed up for hours because so many people left at the same time and most of them didn't have cars. Our school's meticulously maintained lawn was destroyed. The news did a report on the story, but it wasn't that great because for a few days most of the school thought it was a clerical error. It wasn't until someone brought in one of the fliers a few days later that the administration saw that the flier said "Sponsored by the class of 2008" and realized it was a senior prank.
The next monday our principal called in the entire class of 2008 into the cafeteria and screamed at us for about 2 hours straight. Prom had already happened, they couldn't cancel graduation because they had already booked a high class location, and they couldn't cancel senior trip because they had already spent our money. They ended up canceling senior night, which was ok with us because we all had a giant house party instead.
wow. i was going to lay into you for doing something stupid but that was sort of cool. I feel bad about the homeless people though, they should have let them stay and eat....

|wow i actually have one. there was a fire alarm and i guess one of the kids who was a freshman or sophomore (he was pretty tall and fairly popular too) used the porta potty. I didn't see it happen but next thing I know, I see the porta potty on its side. I assume some a****** kids knocked it down and when that kid came out of it, he was pretty shaken up. Poor guy. I'm sure it means nothing now but kids can really be cruel when peer pressure is influencing them

this guy has got it right. if you work out without ever doing legs you will eventually look ridiculously lopsided.
it feels so good to have both strong legs and a strong upper body. i'm so glad i didn't have tc's point of view when i started working out. what a waste of time that woudl have been

my school doesn't sell fatty foods and my family likes cooking healthy.
are you kidding me? this is an excuse? do you really think you are going to put on good muscle mass with junk food? start eating as healthy as you can just eat constantly whenever you are a bit hungry and you'll change for the better. start working out too
so many people complain like you but have parents who don't like to eat heatlhy. now you're complaining about how you have too much good food to eat

|the best piece of advice i can give is to go all out with your goal. Be fanatical. It'll help you progress faster if you commit to changing your diet and exercise in a big way and are consistent with it|
start drinking water
no soda or juice, ever (juice has lots of sugar in it, soda does too, ergo juice is also bad for you- get it??)
start eating more fruits and veggies whenever possible
100% whole wheat bread
whole grain pasta
natural peanut butter
protein source with every meal
eat many meals per day
and above all else, start WORKING OUT with weights
4 days a week would be good for about a hour each day
if you need help getting a routine, find a trainer at a gym and pay him once to help you figure one out

Reyes7J posted...i always get annoyed at women who only run
They're probably afraid that if they gain any muscle they'll end up looking like those woman body builders. Of course they won't unless they take a bunch of hormones and eat 5000 calories a day, but they don't know that.
if you are using only 5 pound dumbells for something, either you just started working out or you are content with not pushing yourself for better overall fitness
women just don't realize that you are supposed to PUSH yourself during a workout. they won't change much physically otherwise or it'll take a LONG time

stop being afraid of weights (and getting "too big", it won't happen) and try working out hard for a change instead of just running.
